Just stumbled over a message from @lassecashmagi , so I thought I'd check the platform out. I held a little of it in a diesel-pools a while back, and it all disappeared - but not really, it just got transferred it seems. To here, www.lassecash.com . To be honest, I don't understand much about the tokenomics, but there are a few things here that peaked (haha) my interest.

If you had Lassacash-Coins on Hive, TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO CLAIM (if I understood correctly) the equivalent on the lassecash platform.

Deep Posting

First, a very interesting and innovative idea: Setting payout time. 7 days for 25% of the pool, 30 days for 75% of the pool. I guess that refers to the Lassecash-Coin pool. Yes, I read through the explanation in the "about" section, but am still confused. Still a great idea!

By the way, the 'lassecash' tag still works on any other front-end!

Though I'm not sure, I used it in a Actifit post, but my post doesn't appear in the feed here. It would be like a normal post, not like a "Deep" post. And there seems to be a threshold of tokens to be held in order to be eligible for the internal reward. For example, I have 3340 staked coins, so I can't do a Deep post yet - I'd need 10k for that.

Besides that, there are three options for how to receive the rewards. 20% liquid/80% staked (called L-Shares), 100% staked, or burn it all. No way to share rewards with others, as far as I can see.

New Features

Second, the post creation. I can add my personal link! As with other front-ends, the title fills in automatically, but as you can (hopefully) see in the address to this post, I was able to personalize it:

Image pasting works the same. Nice. Summary is also 140 characters, BUT, and that is interesting, you can add up to 20 tags, not 10 like on PeakD for example. That can be cool for those who focus on shit-coin-farming, putting in the respective tags like there was no tomorrow. I see that a lot on Actifit posts, too. As mentioned, I have no idea how those things work, so no judgement from my side ;-) (Smileys don't turn into emoticons automatically here, either.)

Roll Overs & Voting

No dust-payouts. I like that. Everything is rolled over until representing 1 full coin.

So, the voting is connected to Hive, too. The system is similar, just that LC uses a 1/10 ratio. Basically, you have 10x 100% votes within 7 days. Meaning, it has to be used more carefully than Hive votes, which are at 1/50 (100% equals 2% VP). Just to take that into account. An equal ratio would've been better in my opinion. Right now, when I run out of VP on LC, I still have VP left on PeakD. If I understand correctly, that is.

Other pages

Most of the other pages on the site are explaining how everything works, and many numbers and charts. Not much about content creation, nor other attractive features like different feeds. Great for people that like numbers and the mechanics of blockchains and finances behind it, but besides the new features in the post creation, I don't see any advantage to using this as a blogging platform against PeakD for example. But I'm pretty sure that will change! The creator seems to be quite enthusiastic, so who knows.

Conclusion

Interesting ideas that need polishing. I see potential for them, but can't quite understand the need for yet another front-end to accomplish the same, or less. Maybe that will change, I'll keep checking in sporadically, maybe throwing some votes around, just for the fun of it. In the end, it seems to be a site in development, so cutting some slack is due!
