Hi Friends,
I took a vacation day today, so we planned a few fun things to do with the kids.
First, we went to a children’s museum we had been thinking about taking the kids to. It was more a play place with some learning opportunities, and light on the “museum” part. The kids had a lot of fun though. Jacob enjoyed playing with a car racing ramp they had, and Kendra spent a lot of time climbing some stairs and then taking a slide back down! Here are a couple pictures:
We then went to a burger restaurant named Islands, and enjoyed some burgers and fries after running around all morning. After, Jacob and I went back to the museum for a bit, while Kendra and mom went back to the car for Kendra’s nap. Once Kendra was done napping, we went out for ice cream! The kids loved it of course!
The rest of the afternoon will be at home and spent resting. The kids will be going to bed early as they are melting down a bit after a late night on the 4th of July... looking forward to the weekend though!
