Jacob is dressing up as Thomas the Tank Engine and Kendra is dressing up as Minnie Mouse. This will be the third year in a row that Jacob has insisted on being Thomas despite our efforts to persuade him otherwise - d the bummer is that he doesn’t fit into his old costume, so we had to get him a new Thomas costume this year… oh well!
The kids are going out with their grandparents and mom to a local downtown district where the businesses pass out candy during the daytime, and we will go out trick or treating this evening as a family when the sun goes down. Should be a fun evening!
We did do some pumpkin carving and decorating last night as well to help get us ready for today… here are the finished products:
