Ok it happened... evey Steemit family members greatest fear.. I got locked out of Steemit due to a mixup with passwords. To be honest I still don't know what went wrong but there I was locked out. I did everything. I tried all my wallet passwords, email address passwords, I even went in Google settings to look at all my passwords saved on there. (At this point please know google saves your passwords and they can be easily found so make sure your computer is secure from others access).
Ok after a tanti, a big cry and a hot shower I did what I thought would be a dead end for a fairly new use, I did the recovery process that was surprisingly easy and then the wait happened....
Ok we no how long it takes to sign up so if and I am confident that this is a big IF, that it will work I will be waiting at least one week but probably closer to two weeks. Anyway 2 days later it was all fixed and I am back on the air... well steem. It was easy and not a scary process and all the pain and suffering that happened was what I created. So if you do the crazy thing and lose your password don't cry or go crazy like some of us do... not mentioning any names just go to steemit account recovery and spend two days writing great content.
Disclaimer- it was two days for me. I am not saying it will be two days for everyone.
So in the end I give the Steemit account recovery team 5/5 great job.
