If you came here hoping to see something really cool because you thought “He wouldn’t say ‘Nothing to see here’ unless he was trying to hide the fact that there was actually something cool to see, right?”, then you are about to have your hopes for coolness crushed like marmots in a rockslide.
Because there is literally nothing to see here. No snowboarders doing flips, nobody skiing behind a snowmobile in their underwear, no avalanches, explosions, bull moose fights, or anything really worth mentioning. Just a bunch of mountains and trees and snow in every direction. I can’t believe I wasted a whole Saturday climbing all the way up here to take this useless video. It was super windy and I got really bad windburn that stayed on my face for three days before it finally faded away. I almost got run over by a herd of elk on my way down. I hope you enjoy this useless video.

in very close proximity to Mt. Zion (12,126 feet) and not too far from Buckeye Peak (12,867 feet) and the one and only Ski Cooper, where I spent a lot of time wiping out on my way down the bunny hill as third-graders shredded black diamond slopes nearby. You can see the boring forgettable bump they call Mt. Zion at 14 seconds in the video.
Those peaks off in the distance at 7 seconds are the Mosquito Range. I’ve been all over that range and there’s not one damn mosquito over there. Talk about bad branding. I’ve never been so unhappy with a mountain range in my life.
Anyhow, what I’m really trying to say with all of this is that
I had no idea how DTube worked and I screwed it all up. But now I think I know how DTube works, and I won’t make that mistake again.
