Hi!
In this article I want share with you couple of my favorite Fire splinter tactics. Since both of them are build around Disintegrator, you can use similar ones with any splinter as Disintegrator being a Neutral monster.
In this first example rulesets are Close Range and Melee Mayhem. This is the setup for the battle:
Key monsters on my team are:
These two work well together as Disintegrator kinda makes Antoid Platoon even stronger since enemies with only 1 melee left cannot do any damage to The Platoon.
However, this was not going to be like a walk in a park because my opponent had a couple of very strong monsters on the arena.
Level 3 Silvershield Assassin could be quite lethal against my backline monsters with her Sneak and Double Strike abilities. Silvershield Knight could also mean trouble with armor Piercing and Inspire abilities.
So here's how it went down - Demoralizing battle
This here is even nastier version of demoralizing your opponent. Yes, do it double! For some reason it didn't occur to me that you can use two monster with Demoralize, not until just recently. I learned it by accident and have been using it especially with Up Close and Personal ruleset.
Here is the initial setup before any summoner buffs or abilities are played out:
As mentioned, the ruleset is Up Close and Personal so the battle field is obviously full of melee monsters. At this point it still looks pretty even, right?
Now here is the situation right before the battle. Actually, if you take a closer look at this picture below you'll find out that it's pretty much game over for the water team before the battle has even started.
Here is the battle link, if you still want to watch it: Double Demoralizing
To wrap it up, I'd say say that the key is combining Demoralize and Shield abilities. From then on it's a waiting game as your opponent is slowly losing armor and health.
I'll be occasionally giving away some cards to the readers of my Splinterlands articles! Comment below what is the most underrated card in your opinion? One lucky winner will get:
The beast grumbled beside him, the heart of its engine humming gently, chugging puffs of green smoke from an exhaust cylinder. Morloth reached across and turned the dial up, causing the engine to bark and the beast to shudder, its eyes glowing with intense, unprocessed energy.
