Technically, gadgets are now our closest buddy. Losing any can be painful.
My phone was my online office so to say, it made my academical, financial work,
social work so easy and fun.
There were several features that made me love my phone so much,
•Portablity,
•The music speaker was loud,
•Fast browsing (4g)
•Morning alarms,
•I customized most of my callers and there color of LED light to display at the back of the phone (Huawei Lua)
I literally built my work around my phone.
The fateful day the day was stolen was on the 27th of April, it happened in a taxi. While coming back from a steem promotion show and talent hunt (Steem camp One steem stage and Miss steem). I was really exhausted while going home, so I kept the phone inside my bag because it was already low. Sitting close to the driver seat , my phone was quietly removed from my bag.
When I came down I noticed my money had fallen off the bag into the car, so I hurriedly picked it and I tried searching for my phone but before I could realize my ordeal the driver was far gone.
Since then I have been blogging from a borrowed phone. It has not been though but for the love of blogging, I won't relent in being active on steemit. I believe it is a phase that will soon be over in a very short while.
LESSONS TO LEARN
•For your phone contacts: Always sync it to your Google account for backup
•For your photos : Always sync it to your Google drive
•It doesn't cost much to install a tracker on your phone, get one.
•Be vigilant even when tired
•Never panic when such happens just take a deep breath and calm down, it's just a gadget.
