Sometime today, I read a comment. Not sure what it was in relation to or the content of the post.
But it had something to do with newbies that have been onboarded to Hive.
I believe my answer was something like we have to hold their hand.
Another words we have to help, show them the way, show them what Hive has to offer. Not just get them onboarded and leave them to figure it out for themselves.
Then when i was searching for a graphic I came across the one I used. And it was like someone slapped me upside the head.
It fits Hive so well. People all around the world. All holding hands. All supporting each other.
Don't let go
It is great to say to hold the hand of someone new to Hive. But let's take it one step further. Don't let go.
After all is that not why we have communities on Hive? So we can, people with common interests and ideas, hang out. Support each other.
It absolutely is.
From day one the people on the CTP Tribe held my hand, many others, and other tribes in my first year held my hand. I would not be writing tonight without that.
Sure we grow, change, move to other interests. In offline life and on Hive. But never forget what people did for you.
Then pass it on. Hold the newbies hand, hold the hand of someone that needs it, always try and be there to support old and new Hive friends.
If we don't forget how to hold each other's hands then Hive is going places.
Without the people and the communities, Hive is nothing.
