HPUD and The MichList

I've been pretty impressed for some time now that people have small communities where they get to "meet-up" with their Hive friends. I know @steevc talks about the "BritList" and there are several instances where people get together and meet each other.

With HiveFest being halfway across the world, it isn't always practical for everyone to be able to make it there. I think it would be cool if we had some more regional meet-ups that people could attend.

I'm not saying I am going to spearhead this, and trust me I am not going to just show up at your door one day expecting to talk about Hive. What I would like to do is maybe start compiling a list of people in my home state who are also on Hive.

I'd call it the Michigander list, but @mrsbozz quite honestly hates that term, so I figure "MichList" might be a better way to go.

Please feel free to respond to this email and fill in any gaps that I may have missed. If you live in Michigan, I'd love to get you on my list.

Like I said, I am probably not the one to be organizing a meet-up, but who knows, someday maybe a group of us could get together. That might be cool. Take over some campsites at North Higgins Lake State Park or something. I don't know.

You have to understand, I am pretty anti-social, so it is a miracle that I am even suggesting most of this. I am also not out to DOX anyone, so if you would rather stay anonymous, I totally understand.

This is what I know so far:

@bozz of course is from Michigan because that is me.
@mrsbozz is my wife, though I control her account at the moment.
@iikrypticsii is my worker and lives in Michigan.
@vgholdingsllc is a master precious metal and gem holder from Michigan
@cryptictruth is from the middle of the state
@amberyooper lives in the great north country of Michigan
@goldendawne lives in Michigan too, but I am not sure she is around much anymore.
@dswigle can be an honorary member because she used to have a place in the UP :)
@definethedollar lives downstate as well near one of the bigger cities I think.

I know there was someone else who lives down by Michigan International Speedway, but I can't think of their name now.

There was also someone who lived over by Manistee, but I think he has been inactive for a while now.

Anyway, I have zero doubt there are probably countless people I am missing. If you see this, please speak up. Just letting me know you live somewhere in the state is enough. You can be as generic or specific as you want.

Additionally, it is HPUD today, so in honor of that, I decided to power up 20 Hive:

I've never powered down my rewards, so honestly, pretty much every day is HPUD for me, but in honor of the first of the month, I thought I would throw some extra on there. It isn't much, but it all adds up over time. I have been stacking my HBD bags as full as I can.

I am gunning to hit that 100 HBD per month mark in interest earned. I think I will get there eventually, it might take another year though. As long as I keep adding and compounding I should be good.

I look forward to seeing all of the replies I get from this. Who knows, there might be someone living in the town right next to me who I never knew about that uses Hive!
