The mudskipper was clinging to the rocks. Staring at me who shot the fish using a smartphone camera, some time ago. The fish-like animal didn't run away, like the rest of its herd. The species actually "challenged" me to taking photos from various angles, even though I had difficulty reaching those angles.
Mudskipper, as the name suggests, lives in the mud. Jumping on land, and swimming nimbly in the waters. From the records of scientists, it is known that the mudskipper is an amphibian fish that can live in two realms; water and on land. Meanwhile, from the scientific classification, mudskippers are in the Order Gibliformes, with the Oxudercidae Family, and the Gunther Oxudercinae subfamily.
In my place, we often refer to mudskipper as "lizard fish". Giving the name is in accordance with the habits of fish that like to stick to rocks, such as house lizards.
