I wish I could say that just as we want things is exactly how they play out, well, the only times we could just get what we want is when we were babies. As we grow, we got to discover that it's not just as we expect that things actually turn out to be. There's more to be learnt as we live because everyone has a way about what they want and essentially, the realness of life is discovered daily. At this point I have to relax and realise that life is personal and takes different approach for everyone depending on how their life was lived. We love to think that we are in control of everything that transpired which our actions justifies our reality.
To make our reality and expectations tally, we simply have to work towards it, there's actually no shortcut at all to attaining what we want. I've found myself countless times expecting a whole lot of deal to happen but in its eventuality, nothing comes forth and sure I wouldn't stoop low to the fact that it's not yet time because the question of time is something entirely different. Truly, if wishes were horses, all men would ride one and surely there are no wishes without action. It's one thing to want something and it's another thing to get that thing.
I even recall a month ago setting a target for myself on hive but right now I'm only seeing myself far from it not because it was intentional not to attain it but reality took its course and there's nothing that can be done except to get ready for what's coming and live with it. There are a lots of times that we wish we can change a lot that has happened, that is happening and that will happen to how we want it to. Certainly, I'd be one of those that thought they'd be a millionaire now but reality is already being lived that one is not even a thousandnaire.
Yes surely my life has not been as I expected and many of it is as a result of my decisions which I take responsibility for and some actions were performed for the best reasons that remain inevitable but seriously, they are all as a result of decisions made.
Let's be aware that expectations and reality would differ but would align when we put in the work judiciously.
