When I scrolled through my Instagram Feed today, guess what I found?! This Reel which says that the 10th biggest holder of Bitcoin is actually the Hive Blockchain! I was like: That‘s us! We own 2,351 BTC which is currently worth more than 60 million USD! Great! Isn’t that amazing?!
Well I was just starting to feel proud when my brain kicked in and I began to think.

Once my adrenaline when down, those questions began to arise in my head:
When did Hive start accumulating Bitcoin?
Who decided that? Was that a Proposal I missed?
And who the heck is that guy on the picture?!
🔴 Research and answers
Then I did some web research since I had this assumption…
As I once heard before, there is a Canadian Bitcoin Miner that is called „Hive Blockchain“ and this guy on the picture is indeed the CEO!
Strictly speaking the company has renamed itself recently and is now called „Hive Digital Technologies“. Whatever, that Hive company is holding Bitcoin since they are into mining and the Instagram guy pulling together the Reel obviously took the wrong logo. Research mistake I would say. Well, no Bitcoin then. We have to stick to our Hive Coin and HBD then. 🤷🏼♂️
