S&P Green Pre-Christmas: +1.2% Week, +17% YTD
The S&P is green going into the christmas break. We are up a hundred points vs last week which is a nice +1.2%.
Also the bigger picture is looking bright, a gain of +17% YTD 2025. We cannot complain at all since this isbthw third good year in a row.
For the coming year one thing will be very important: Who will be the next Fed Chair. Trump said he is planning to announce the new guy in January, so watch out! If we get more and deeper rate cuts the rallye is likely to continue throughout 2026.
What is your 2026 target for the S&P 500? I would bet on something beyond 7,000 points.
