70 Million Kids. One Share Each. A $10 Billion Statement.
Now that is a statement! Elon Musk posted on X today that he would give every american child one of his SpaceX stocks next year. With around 70 million children under 18 in the US, that would amount to a $10 billion gift to the American public.
For Elon Musk, it would be manageable. He holds a total of 6.4 billion $SPCX shares. Still, it would be a powerful symbolic gesture, and thanks to Trump Accounts, relatively easy to implement in practice.
