The red-legged partridge is cautiously walking through the cabbage field...
... just after the short summer rain ...
... and here, on this field ...
... I'm observing ...
... the beauty and natural magic ...
... of the remaining water ...
... on these large hydro repellent leaves ...
... the water glides and moves like some strange transparent Syfy creature ...
... like in the movie The Abyss ... from 1989 ... I saw it at the Cinema back then, in my high school days, and although the human drama was very boring to me back then ... those short alien effects were amazing ... and when I saw it in the even more real version, here on the common unremarkable cabbages ... hehe, well, was even more amazing ... Cabbage Vs Hollywood - 1 : 0 ...
... and by rolling on the leaves ...
... the water entraps the dirt in these relatively huge pearls ...
... and occasionally ...
... even an insect can end up inside the bubble ...
... this interesting and very peculiar looking cicada relative accidentally jumped in the bubble right before my eyes while I was photographing just another droplet ... and was trapped ...it was an amazing surprise ... never saw it before ... or since ... a bit later I got him out of this trouble ... but first I had to photograph this strange Jewell ... it was a bit like a fossil in the amber ... and meanwhile ...
... the partridge was walking around me at a safe distance, from time to time observing what I'm doing ...
... and I was continuing my search ...
... for always new versions ...
... or combinations ...
... of droplets ...
.... along with the occasional insect ...
... like this small fly ...
... or this ...
... lovely green ...
... caterpillar ... and from time to time, I was also ...
... photographing the bird ...
... I had a lot of fun ...
... and some inspirational moments ...
... of true amazement ...
... in this, very ordinary ...
... cabbage field ...
... after the short and gentle ...
... summer rain ...
... and now ... with a few more ...
... drops of water ...
... and ...
... the closing partridge shot ...
... is time to end this post ... as always in these posts on Steemit, the GIF and photographs, are my work.
