I spent most of the day in my usual chair, in front of the PC screen, busy organizing photographs for future posts. The weather was gray and dull, uniformly cloudy, so I wasn't interested in whatever was going on in the great world outside my house. Not until the late afternoon, when a pretty strong wind started blowing ...
... and my mood got revitalized by the change of the weather.
I sat in the car and drove to the nearest beach.
The place was nice and desolate.
The waves on the shore weren't impressive ...
... because this part of the bay is well sheltered from the northern wind ...
... but I could see more action on the surface of the deeper water further towards the horizon ...
... and on the sand around me. I tried to photograph the movement of the sand, but it wasn't visible in the motionless shot, so I decided to take a series of photographs to make a GIF later at home.
Here is the photograph. The sand brought by the wind is kinda visible, but barely.
When I put the photographs in the animated GIF, I was satisfied with the scene.
Here you can see some lovely orange lights ...
... on one of the apartment buildings that grew on the beach two decades ago.
Here you can see the same lights in a slightly different composition that includes the spherical streetlamp. I like this second version better. In the following photograph ...
... you can take another look at the shore.
And that's it. I spent only half an hour there on the beach, so ...
... so, this post ends here - THE END.
