We are the
We are part of a larger German SPL gaming community, the Legendary Dragons, with 14 guilds brawling in various tiers. Our leading guilds, the Legendary Dragons and the Legendary Wyverns play in tier 4 and rank in the top 20. The Legendary Dragon Babies are currently playing in tier 2 and are ranked #146. We had a great brawl and finished second with only 3 points shy of top spot. Before the fight we took second place in the brawl ranking behind All For One - One For All #83 and ahead of Lux Aeterna #178 so the result was on par. For the summer period, we have decided to play in tier 2 while some of our players are away on holidays or taking a break. We also said farewell to one of our seníor players, pep2204, so we are short of active players right now. All the best pep!
With a total of 58 battles going in our favour, we were able to tally a satisfactory score of 58 to 35, giving us a decent 62% winrate. Well done Dragon Babies! It would have been nice to get maximum placement with only one win difference, but the brawl was generally quite a tight affair with only 10 wins separating the top 4.

My performance in this brawl was satisfactory. Its my second brawl on a GF fray and I am happy with a positive winrate. The podium brought us almost 3k merits and 20 SPS each, which are great rewards. I had a few merits left from the last brawl, so here come 2 pack openings!
Here are the gladiators I pulled in the last 2 weeks:
I was super happy to open 2 gladiator packs with 2 great GF pulls, Captain Katie and Bertrol Gobson. These are great additions to my gladiator deck, especially now that I am playing a GF fray! I already had a GF Bertrol, so he is now at level 4. Captain Katie is certainly going to dominate battles in future and my GF gladiator collection is growing very nicely overall, take a look!
In the BATTLE-OF-THE-DAY segment, we have a high mana earth battle, featuring Katrelba Gobson. The rulesets are Reverse Speed, Lost Magic and Silenced Summoners. The mana cap is 50 and the water deck is not available.
Strategic planing is a little restricted on a GF fray as there are no full decks available, but I want to make sure, that a gladiator is in the arena. Goblin Tower is there to strike first with Blast to shake the tree and Katrelba Gobson, although she is a bit fast for the ruleset, should score some Bloddlust regardless.
ROUND 1
My opponent went for the life deck without a gladiator, which is always welcome in a brawl battle and my team looked stronger from the outset. Goblin Tower, followed by Bramble Pixie, took the shield of the opposing tank to begin with. A few opposing shots scattered their way around but there was nothing serious. Katrelba took two shots at the Portal Spinner, ready to complete the kill in round 2. At the end of the round, Gargoya Devil took the Chaos Knight to expose the enemy midflied.
ROUND 2
The Goblin Tower/Bramble Pixie combo easily took out the Stitch Leech and then the dominos fell one by one. Katrelba got her Bloodlust and Gargoya Devil took the last scalp to end the battle.

What is going wrong in Splinterlands?
There is a lot of negative sentiment around me in the Splinterlands community at the moment and it has been building up gradually over many months. I myself have lost all interest in ranked battles. I wasn't particularly impressed with all the changes and developments for quite some time, either, but I stuck with it. The latest change, the SPS gate, has seriously tested and challenged some to the most dedicated players and believers in the game. Some players around me have left or are getting ready to leave the game altogether.
After a year of brawling and involvement in several different guilds, I still believe in my brawling future but have lost more and more interest in ranked battles at the same time. I looked up some of my early Splinterlands posts and here is my first post on guilds and brawling ⚔All I wanna do is BRAWL⚔ from about 6 months ago. I am still as motivated about guilds as before, probably more so today. I am also still as motivated as before about the conscript summoners that came out at the beginning of the year, along with all the other soulbound reward cards.
On the other hand, I have not just lost interest in ranked battles. I have also quit land, sold my unclaimed single plot with a loss and got out of the whole thing. I stopped buying cards with the exception of recently getting Kelya upgraded to Level 6 and Quix to Level 3. There will be no more investments for a while, but full steam ahead in my guilds!
Let's see what happens when bots are banned from Modern League. I am dissatisfied as a player right now, too, but I have to hand it the SPL devs when it comes to there always being something that we players are waiting to see.
