Last summer my family and I went on vacation to Cyprus. Of course, due to the pandemic, this decision was not easy for us. Organization of the trip had certain difficulties. But still we managed to do it. Of course, during my vacation, I managed to take a number of photos that I want to share. And I will add a few comments to these photos that do not pretend to be a detailed travel report or an art opus.

So, the first day. After an overnight flight, early in the morning we arrive at Larnaca airport. We go through all the formalities, get the luggage and take the first look at the peculiar and unusual nature of Cyprus.

Then there were transfer to Ayia Napa, check-in at the hotel. In general, all this fuss that you have to endure for the sake of rest. However, it should be noted that on the day of arrival, this fuss is not so annoying, unlike the day you return home.

So, we finally got a room and for the first time looked at the hotel grounds from the balcony. We appreciated that our room and balcony were well located. And the territory of the hotel is pretty.

Our hotel is not located on the coastline. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the nearest beach at a slow pace. Perhaps even less.

But the nearest beach was the famous Nissi beach. On our last vacation in Cyprus, we wanted to visit here, but we did not succeed. This time, on our first visit, the beach seemed to us an amazing place. Calm clear water of amazing color and white sand, great music, playing from a bar nearby, calm weather and hot sun. There were only two drawbacks here. This is a huge number of people and small algae accumulations near the coast.

However, this did not stop us from dropping our backpacks and immediately enjoying the warm pleasant sea. It immediately became noticeable how much easier it is to swim in this seawater compared to fresh water lakes and rivers in our home. We swam a lot and played with the children. There was no time to photograph further.
