After reading a post by @mysearchisover about unfollowing Steemit users, I began to look over my list of people I still follow. I think he may be on to something and I will do the same, but I have different reasons for unfollowing. I was following over 100 users and most of the time I missed posts by people I actually want to read. As of today, I am down to following 50, BUT that is going to change. I will be going through my list and eliminating people who follow me and I them, but they do not interact with my posts at least once in a while. Heck, a casual upvote now and then wouldn't kill them - I do it to show support. So yeah, I will probably be down to following 10 people. This way I can see their posts and upvote/comment instead of them getting lost in the crowd. If we all get lost in the crowd while searching for ways to get the attention of whales, we have no reason to be here.
