Continuing with my LGBT anthems for PRIDE month here in the states, I present a classic. The love for the lyrics and emotions behind I Will Survive for LGBT is self explanatory, more so in decades past when LGBT were typically outcasts from their families, straight friends, communities, churches, and coworkers. Finding new friends and choosing new "family" - typically by moving to the city, which will be covered by future anthem posts - meant survival and a sense of joy when all appeared lost and hopeless.
