20 CL Packs Opening + Giveaway #79

Greetings my fellow Splinterlandians. I haven’t been up to much in the SPL world. Just chugging along. I know there has been a lot of buzz around land as I believe surveying is coming up real soon and everyone is talking about Production Power (PP) and how best to maximise their land. I know the land barons are trying to work out how to work their land effectively as there are just not enough high PP cards to go around, so they are all strategizing what goes where. All water off my back as I have zero plots, although I am getting a little caught up in the hype. I am contemplating getting a plot, but it will be like a massive gamble cos if it’s a common plot, it would be worth very little in the resale market. Anyone with plans on what to do with their plots?

Hey hey, another pack opening with 2 Legendaries. That was a good start, but it went downhill straightaway as I flipped the Commons. Only 1 GF and some decent high value Commons. Rares were a totally different story all together though. First 3 flips were GF Rares, most amount of GF Rares I ever got from a single pack opening. Feels like I got a decent amount of Rares too, so things are looking on the up and up. Next up 5 Epics which is a good quantity with the standout being the Wave Brood. Down to my 2 Legendaries and it started with a Lira which is an excellent card, but boy the next Legendary was better. Grandmaster Rathe, Legendary Life Summoner which is like the go to Life Summoner in Modern, unless you are able to get a Lorna Shine.

We have lots of cards with 4 duplicates, even the Rare Portal Spinner showing up 4 times. But only 1 card is tops with 5 duplicate, the Venari Scout. Doesn’t look like a popular guess amongst everyone. That’s card #1 in our pool which is a good thing as it means you all are better at guessing and we are giving our cards more regularly instead of in lumps of 5.

Just a few more days till EOS before we start a full season with the new Energy season. So that will be very interesting as to how the ratings will go as there are less battles going on.
