This is taken a while back, during my first real winter and few months after my first encounter with snow. This was when the weekdays was filled with tons of work, weekends with long drivers across the vast Canadian landscape. I am sure, this was one of those long drives to places unknown -- 2008 was the year.
Technical aspects: Nikon D80, Sigma 17.0-70.0 mm f/2.8-4.5, ƒ/4.0 and at 40.0 mm, 1/320s - ISO 320 & freezing cold. The high shutter, ISO and aperture is mostly because of the freezing temperatures.
