Today, while I was walking around and looking for insects to photograph in the vacant lot next to our neighbor's house,,, I came across this dead empty shell.. It belongs to a type of giant African land snail,,, which is commonly found in many places,,, especially in gardens,, agricultural areas,, and humid tropical regions throughout the Philippines.,,
Sometimes you might accidentally step on one while walking through grassy areas without even noticing it...
While I was taking pictures of the empty shell, a dragonfly happened to land on it at just the right moment... I didn't need to look for another insect because this one came to me on its own! I quickly took some pictures because I was afraid it might fly away... Luckily it stayed there for a few seconds before finally flying off.

The dragonfly flew away but landed nearby again. However, when I approached it, it immediately flew away and disappeared into the distance.
