Hello everyone.. its been a while since I posted in this community.. hope everyone's doing great today where ever part of the world you are right now..
Yesterday afternoon, my spouse asked me to buy a battery for their mouse because it was running low on power, so I hurried to a nearby store, but they didn't have the battery I was looking for. I immediately went back home to ask my spouse if it really needed to be replaced right away. They said not yet, and that they just wanted to have an extra one in case the first battery completely drained. So I said I would just buy one at the larger store in town instead, where they would definitely have it. I thought of bringing my camera so that on my way back, I could just walk to get some exercise and take some photos as well.
After buying the battery, I thought that since I would be walking home anyway, I might as well pass by the capitol grounds to take some pictures there... and here are some of the photos I took.
Children happily playing on their scooters, and mothers taking pictures of their kids...

There are also plenty of stalls selling street food and drinks if you get hungry. Some people are jogging, while couples and groups of friends are sitting on the benches.

I was struck by how beautiful the grass growing around the area, so I took photos of it, as well as my reflection in the water. Since the weather started turning bad and looked like it was about to rain, I decided to just go straight home instead of walking so I wouldn't get caught in the downpour. I took a tricycle so I could get home quickly before the rain started. Luckily, right as I arrived home, the heavy rain poured down.
