I recently got curious about why people use specific different forms to express themselves via emojis on Steem, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc. You might find a pattern when people try to express themselves and they might be doing it with unconscious mind. For example some people will express their gratitude always with yellow heart and they will do it almost every time in their expression. You cannot really question choice of anyone and why anyone choose some specific color it cannot always be clearly defined but they definitely have some aspect of attraction towards that color to use it.

I am going to share different colors of hearts and their popular meanings:

Red Heart

A classic form used for expressions of love, commonly used to express affection and romantic love.

Green Heart

It is also known as Jealous Heart. It can be associated with envy, jealousy and possessive love.

Purple Heart

It can represent sensitive, understanding and compassionate love. It can also represent love-making or sometimes lust.

Yellow Heart

It is an expression of friendship and happiness.

Blue Heart

It can symbolize deep love, harmony and loyalty.

and finally my most recent favorite one.

Black Heart

It can be associated with something evil and malevolent but it also represents being emotionally immune (without compassion, feeling or love). Latter aspect of it can be quite strong ability in itself sometimes.
