I do love a good Surf and Turf. Althought, truth be told, if I am eating a Tomahawk steak, usually, all I can do is eat the steak. Nothing like a rare Ribeye steak.
The Tomahawk is simply a bone in Ribeye, with about 6 inches or more of the bone left in, on top of the Rib meat. So, the shape resembles the long handles single sided axe, and thus the name.
the best, in my opinion, Surf and Turf combo, is Rare Sirloin Tips, and Scallops!
These sea scallops on a high sear, are the perfect companion, to Surf And Turf!
