Earlier tonight, I filled 58 seed cells in the 72 Cell tray. All tomato seeds. 58 cells, times 2 seeds (for redundancy) equals 116 seeds sown... across 14 different varieties!

I filled the seed trays with seed starter a few days ago, and have been bottom watering the trays. this gives me nice moist soil, to plant in.
Above: these are the varieties of tomato I planted. Below: The 2nd shelf down, left side, is where the tomato seed tray is.2nd shelf right side, I added two more Cucumber Seeds, as I forgot the package of Muncher Cukes during yesterday's planting.
This was a night I have been looking forward to since the garden died this past November. Finally, I am going at it, whole hog, as they say. I have 14 seed cells in the tomato seed tray, plus 4 cells in the cucumber tray. Also, below, I have an entire 72 cell seed tray empty. That's 90 more cells to fill with seeds! Some of them will be zucchini, and some will be squash. Some will be some Marigold flowers, to attract pollinators, like butterflies and bees.
Do you have a favorite plants you grow? What do you think I should plant? Let me know, below...
