My brother and brother-in-law, my cousin Kim, my aunt and uncle, our dear friend from my wife's book club, plus a few of our neighbors in the campground made it over for Apps and Cocktails tonight!

I truly enjoy having a large gathering and providing food and drink. Love having people gather, tell stories, and laughing. I feel at home, providing them a home to gather and feel comfortable. To give them the space, to unwind, and show their inner selves.
The Pico de Gallo:

I am serving crudité, baked potato (from my garden) skins w/ melted cheese and bacon, steamed local mussels, an Asian Beef Lettuce Wrap, Loucaniko (Greek Sausage w/ lemon), chips and dips, Pico de Gallo, some fried zucchini, some stuffed mushroom, baked cheese wrapped in bacon

The steamed mussels were done with white wine, minced garlic, and a side of melted, drawn butter w/ Lemon wedges, the stuffed mushroom, and fried zucchini came with some of our neighbors!

Keep picking late summer vegetables, and prepping for fall gardening.
For Kicks, i planted 6 Beefsteak tomato seeds. They say 55-60 days until harvest, I have 75 or so until first expected frost, so let us see.
