In this article, we will look at the choas dragon paired with quix the summoner and how evasive the dragon can be with this combo. Let us first look at the card and then we will break down the battle.
Chaos Dragon
The chaos dragon is a beast of a card. Three magic damage at level one is only matched by nerissa on the water team. The scatter shot makes this card great against a taunt monster as you can avoid the taunt. At level 2, it gains blast which makes the scatter shot even more effective. Lastly, three speed with flying makes the dragon very evasive especially when pairing him with quix. Here is a look at a battle showing off the chaos dragon in all it's glory. Round 1
The ruleset calls for shields up meaning that most of the time you will see a magic play from your opponent. My opponent decided to do an interesting play and deal melee and ranged damage all over the place along with a repair monster. He is lucky in that I did not play many monsters allowing all of his monsters to attack my backline chaos dragon. His problem is that the slow from quix and the flying on the dragon gives my chaos dragon a 45% miss chance. I will take those odds when having 16 hit points to use up. Along with that, my djinn oshannus has a 40% miss chance against most of my opponents monsters including his living lava. Let us see how the first round plays out.
Round 2
In round 1, we saw one miss out of three attacks for my chaos dragon. In this round, we see another miss out of two attacks for the chaos dragon. He also picks off my opponents serpentine spy leaving even slower monsters to remain attacking.
Round 3
Two more misses from my chaos dragon and my opponent's living lava is almost dead.
Round 4
Living lava goes down along with my opponents scavo hireling. Another miss for the chaos dragon as well
Rounds 5-6
At this point, it is all over and my magic attacks continue to eliminate my opponent until the lava spider is in the first position. At that time, the game is over as the spider cannot attack and I have five magic damage. Easy win!
I hope you enjoyed this break down of the use case for the chaos dragon especially paired with the summoner quix. I would love to upgrade this monster to level 2 in the future and get the blast ability. The card really is one of a kind when that happens.
