It's Saturday, and I went through some of my poems I bumped into days ago. I remember vividly why I wrote the poem below.

Why Kill me?
Why hang me?
A dog I feared it was
A snake I feared
But my friends it was!

A friend whose gun I loaded
My barn, my pen, my farm, distressed!
I took a shot
Hoping to kill a prey
Hoping to grab a meat
But there lay my friend!
Innocent is what I am!

I slayed a man!
So why kill me?
Why hand me?
A dig I felt it was,
A snake I fear
But my friend it was!

# Tip! ## Friends aren't all they claim to to be sometimes!
