Today, I began working in Steem Markdown. I am going to attempt to study it from beginning to end. When I joined the site, I looked over and there were 22 sections including the Introduction. My guide on this site is @sumantranate. He is available if I have any questions or concerns. The site currently offers this service for free. It also measures your progress through the online training journey.
The first lesson in Steem Markdown is line breaks and paragraphs. Creating lines and paragraphs is a basic formatting option. The Enter key was the solution; Press once for a new line and press twice for a new paragraph.
In this lesson and if it does the same throughout the lessons, I will be thankful that I took these courses. After showing you have to do an option on Steemit it shows you how to use HTML to also complete the same option.
In HTML you can use the () tag to create a line break.
The () tag does not require an end tag like most other HTML tags.
To create a new paragraph in HTML you must open and close the new paragraph. You can use line breaks and other tags within your paragraph but when you want to end the paragraph you must close it.
Start a paragraph ( ); end a paragraph ( ). No spaces or parenthesis are necessary I used them in order for them to be viewable.
In the lesson once you are taught something you are instructed to go on Steemit and practice it. After that you are quizzed on what you just learned. After completing my lesson in line breaks and paragraphs I was 9% complete.
