The title of this book is Small Pig written by Arnold Lobel. It was published by HarperCollins Publishers Inc.
This book reminds me of
. The pig was a runt and had a strong imagination. This book talks about the life of a pig… in an imaginary way. This pig lives on a farm. A pig likes to eat, sleep and roll around in mud.The farmer’s wife had OCD and began to clean everything on their farm. When she got to the pig pen she had a rude awakening. Pigs like things messy and muddy.
When the small pig saw that his mud was gone he ran away from the farm. Runaway pork chops, runaway bacon runaway etc… The pig found a swamp and sunk into the mud.
”Ouch!” says the small pig as a dragonfly bumps into his nose.
“Oops!” says the small pig as a frog jumps onto his head.
Yow!” says the small pig. A turtle is biting his tail.
The swamp was taken and they asked the pig to move on. He left the swamp and traveled until he came across a junkyard. He left the junkyard until he came into a big smoggy city. Someone had just laid cement that was hardening to become concrete.
Then many, many people come to look because they have never seen a pig stuck in the sidewalk.
