Hello friends, so am here thinking about how we complicate things for ourselves....
I mean why is it so difficult to say "sorry". As little as the word may seem, the inability to say it has broken many friendships and relationships.
Saying sorry does not make one less human.
Most times we do not say sorry because we are at fault but just to avoid further issues with the other person or basically to save yourself the heartache of staying mad at someone.
Something happened sometime ago, I was in a messed up quarrel with a friend, we stayed mad at each other for a while. Well ofcourse I was waiting for her to apologize first and she was waiting for the same thing. As we put our pride before our friendship, we drifted apart for that period not until another friend had to sit us down before we got back together. I guess I would have lost a friend because of my ego, so would she.
Being the first to apologize to the other person does not make you weak, if anything it makes you a bigger person. It shows how important that relationship or friendship means to you.
But then again, does apologizing settle all dispute?
Feel free to drop your comments....Have a lovely day and thanks for reading.
