Hello hivers...hiveneans...hive peeps, I think I have seen so many names used and I don't even know which one to use lol..but then we know ourselves. This is my introduction post to the world of Hive, following the initiative by @anomadsoul with support from @blocktrades and @ocdb and a wonderful initiative if I may add.
Who am I?
I go with the username Bliss11 on the platform, some persons may have gotten to know me from Steem as a girl that jump servers on Discord lol. The name "Bliss" comes from me wanting to remind myself of what I want to achieve in the near future plus the meaning also has all the positive vibes you can think of.
I have always had passion for event planning and management..I love to organize events for people, helping to bring their dreams of an amazing successful event to reality..like the wedding of your dreams or anniversary, what have you. The satisfaction of seeing the client happy is more like offering a service of "Bliss"...offering a service that makes people happy. So there the name Bliss came to mind, holding unto that name to serve as reminder of what I want to achieve and possibly using it as my company name when the time comes.
For those who do not know me before Hive, like my profile says..."I am a fun girl, exploring all possibilities" . I am not a perfect being but am open to learning new things, meeting new people, disturbing you if you you give me the chance and basically being the best I can be.
It is already 9 months since I joined Steem, time spent there was wonderful...that was where I got my feet on the ground thanks to @theterminal and other persons that made sure I had the support I needed. I was able to watch, learn, grow and meet amazing people in the "world" of steem.
What have I been doing?
Okay, initially I never wanted to be known for a particular niche, so I try to blog about different topics like food recipes, lifestyle blogs and thanks to my love for movies I write about movie reviews amongst others.
While doing my normal blogging, I wanted to do something different from the normal that would involve other persons. So I made a post episode on random questions which I had answered myself..then that gave me an idea and I thought to myself.."why not do something like this...interview other bloggers/vloggers that way we get to know more about them and their opinion on things"...so I started the series of episodes with the hashtag #questionandanswer...which currently is in the 27th episode. I still have eyes out for other persons I would love to interview in this new chain...with time you would get to see more of this.
I also started vlogging on threespeak not long ago...not so easy as I though lol, sometimes I feel it's better to hide my face behind the scenes and just stick to blogging but then trying out new things are great.
Another thing I am into is a contest I started out recently with @drakernoise, Photo filters and effects contest with the #createthatlook. The contest has attracted amazing entries from previous week which has motivated it's continuity and hopefully we get more participant.
What am I doing on Hive?
A greener pasture I think...lol..hope for a better platform, where the voice of community is heard and respected. It is another opportunity for us to build something better than we have before and not become the very system we were against. On my part I hope to do more here on Hive and explore the world here....support and contribute in the little way I can.
