She Turns...17!!!

Today is the big day! My daughter Clover turned 17 and this one is a big one! Sure there was her sweet 16 last year...big deal!!! This is the year that’s a game changer. This is the year that she will get her license.

My wife @reeseshara will be taking her shortly for her drivers test. Clover is super nervous about it but I think she will do fine. The wife has been doing a good job of practicing with her and I’m confident in her abilities. Worst case if she runs over sone people...she can take it over again in 2 weeks. No biggie!

I know she’s been looking forward to this for quite some time. I remember getting my license and how liberating it was. Made me feel just a tad more responsible and like an adult. I’m sure I wasn’t alone in that feeling. Clover has to currently depend on us or her boyfriend to get rides to and from work. Being able to take yourself just...feels better I think.

She will end up getting the wife’s car once she gets a new one. The deal is that Clover pays for her own insurance. Seems fair.

Anyway, please send some good luck vibes for her test today! We will be going out to dinner tonight at a Japanese restaurant with the family and sone of her friends. Should be a real nice time.

I know you won’t read this Clover as I’ve trued to get you on here many times and I get it...it’s not Snapchat! But I just want to let ya know that I’m so proud of you. I’m proud of how close we are and our conversations. I’m over the moon with how good of a big sister you are to your brother. You are idealistic to a fault and have a huge heart. Don’t ever change those qualities. They are rare in today’s society.
