Just 2 Men Promoting a Game…

I wish I could say it’s just the weird angle of the photo, but nope… @yabapmatt is in way better shape than I am at this point in our lives. Maybe it’s my old ass faded Splinterlands shirt compared to his nice, new, and crisp one. Or maybe Matt watches what he eats like a normal human, as I hungrily chow down on White Castle sliders for the second time this week. Whatever it is, he’s doing something right…and that is popping by his (my words) favorite comic shop on the planet in Conquest Comics!

Luckily we don’t live too far apart, so we get to see each other several times a year when he’s in the area. He joins the ranks of rockstar Hivers @steemmatt, @bryan-imhoff, and @dfinney as My friends here on the chain who have made the extra effort to peep out the shop. As always to all of you…I’m humbled and honored. To everyone else who’s never been…how dare you!

I love Matt’s visits as I get to pick his brain for a few to find out what him, @aggroed, and the team have in store and are cooking up for their masterpiece in Splinterlands. His patience with me is always appreciated as I undoubtedly ask stupid questions.

It’s always a treat to have friends from here pop on in to support the shop. From a business standpoint, it’s obviously a win because..well…who doesn’t like a thriving business?!? But more importantly, it’s a reminder of some of the friendships I’ve been fortunate enough to forge with different folks here.

This place…this…blogging platform has awarded me a ton of opportunities to create new relationships and adventures. I’ve come a long way since SteemFest Krakow back in 2018 when I was just but a newborn baby here. I’m glad I stuck it out as some of the friends I’ve made here are worth it’s weight in Gold…Foil Legendary’s.

Basically…What I’m ultimately trying to say is…I need a new shirt Matt….
