What a ride it’s been with my lovely partner by my side. We got married in Vegas 7 years ago today and I couldn’t be more grateful to have such a wonderful companion to accompany on this wild journey through life.
I know I’m punching well above my weight class here folks. She’s quite the prize. Pretty redhead interested in a scrub like me?!? I hit the lottery! We laugh together daily and she puts up with all of my quirks which isn’t super easy to say the least.
She sees every super hero movie on opening night with me…goes to comic con with me…plays Dungeons & Dragons…isn’t afraid to laugh at herself, or terrible dad jokes…doesn’t throw up when she sees me in the buff…and she farts…a lot.
Also…this is a true story. On our second date back in 2012, she spit in my hand which is ironic as she gets grossed out immensely by spit. So much so that the mere discussion of loogies and goobers makes her gag to the near point of yakking.
The story is that we were driving back from a night out, and she told me she could read my future with my palm. So as I’m driving, she’s reading the lines in my hand. She is going on for a good minute following the creases and lines, and that’s when things got good. I was told I was going to be successful and have a big house with a long driveway (following the line) that leads up to a big pool….and that’s when she spit into the palm of my hand.
So there we are…second date…driving in the dark…and I have a palm full of loogie.
Need I go on?!?
