It's recently come to my attention that people who wish to join, support, or utilize BzB with purchases from outside the cryptoverse do in fact exist. My Goal here is to create a step by step guide to help people with any amount of experience in crypto find their way in and out of BlazarBits.
Step 1. Sign up at https://crypto.com/app/fz9gv6drvn(just https://crypto.com if you prefer no referral rewards) this will allow you to purchase Matic tokens and withdraw them to the Polygon Network.
Step 2. You will need https://metamask.io/ as an app or browser extension this will allow you to more easily interact with blockchains directly through websites and decentralized apps. Follow the steps of setting it up, remember to keep your seed phrase safe, AND NEVER SHARE it with anyone!
Step 3. Now you have an account for turning $ into MATIC tokens and a MetaMask public address to send them too! your public address right now is set for Ethereum but will be the same for networks you add to Metamask. For changing your MetaMask over to Polygon network I will use instructions pre-created by someone else. https://medium.com/stakingbits/setting-up-metamask-for-polygon-matic-network-838058f6d844 that is a detailed step by step.
Step 4. Purchase MATIC, and Transfer to your new wallet
Step 5. After selecting transfer select withdraw
Step 6. select external Wallet
Step 7. Add your PUBLIC address from MetaMask and send the MATIC over. Make sure you have Polygon Selected for network
Step 8. After your Matic tokens arrive(time can vary, but generally fast) ,you will want to go to https://exchange.dfyn.network/#/swap (for mobile use the browser within the metamask app)
Step 9. Connect wallet if it is not already done, select BZB in the drop down menu, and hit swap!
If completed you have now successfully purchased BlazarBits! To sell them, select BzB on the top, with matic on bottom, approve BZB for spending(will ask automatically) and deposit the MATIC back to crypto.com!
