The hidden part of wildlife photography is about finding the subject. Long distances are covered and many hours are spent in field dedicated to that.
In 2014 I traveled all the way long from Israel to small village of Białowieża (Poland) to take advantage of photographing Pygmy Owl in Białowieża Forest, one of the oldest forests in Europe. The trip turned out to be a success and I'm going to share here my favorite pictures of this fascinating bird from the trip.
Even though the foreground is disturbed by bent branch, the image made its way to my favorites folder :)
