Gallery forests, also called riparian forests, are those that form along the banks of rivers, streams, and other bodies of water. In the case of my town, Montalb谩n (Carabobo, Venezuela), we have a small river that runs along the eastern edge of town, just a few hundred meters from the paved streets. However, this river is surrounded for much of its course by wooded areas where large trees and other types of plants grow, such as vines, bamboo, and even smaller plants...
Los bosques de galer铆a, tambi茅n llamados "bosques de ribera", son los que se forman en las m谩rgenes de r铆os, arroyos y otros cuerpos de agua. En el caso de mi pueblo Montalb谩n (Carabobo, Venezuela) tenemos un peque帽o r铆o que circunda por el este del pueblo a pocos cientos de metros de las calles pavimentadas. Sin embargo, este r铆o est谩 rodeado en gran parte de su recorrido por 谩reas boscosas en las cuales crecen 谩rboles de gran tama帽o y otros tipos de plantas como enredaderas e incluso bamb煤es y plantas de menor altura...
In my case, I'm fortunate enough to be able to easily enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of these types of forests, as many of our rural roads cross and border them, so I can approach this abundance of vegetation and moisture relatively safely and without having to risk bites from insects or snakes that often live in these ecosystems...
En mi caso, tengo la fortuna de poder disfrutar del ambiente encantador de este tipo de boques f谩cilmente, pues muchos de nuestros caminos rurales los atraviesan y bordean, as铆 que puedo acercarme a este mont贸n de vegetaci贸n y humedad, de manera relativamente segura y sin tener que arriesgarme demasiado a picaduras de bichos o serpientes que suelen vivir en este tipo ecosistemas...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA T脡CNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi c谩mara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
