Dreaming of rain... wait, that sounds like a poem is coming! Nah, today I won't delight you steemies with my super awesome poetry... you're welcome! Let's chat like normal people, shall we? So, I live at the Caribbean and even tho summer is not officially here we're already having hellish temps... 103°F (39°C) these past days and its getting up and up which is obviously not a good thing cause hurricane season started and hot temps are food for hurricanes.
We had 2 weeks straight of rain and it was lovely! No heat or whatsoever but now rain is gone and heat is here to stay. You spend 5 minutes outside and you end up red like a lobster and all sweaty. Its kind of funny cause everyone wears shorts and tank tops for everything and some stores have big signs of "prohibited wearing shorts, flip flops or tank tops"... seriously, that's nonsense, we live in a hellish island and you expect people to wear long covering clothes? Ha! Good luck with that!
Right now I'm fan of my fan! I'm always in front of my fan trying to feel a bit refreshed and when I read someone is having low temps I feel envious... well, I most admit I can't handle very well temps lower than 75°F (23°C) I'm so used to the heat that I really dunno how to handle the cold. Something fresher would be nice... stupid global warming! So, if I ever move to another country it will have a climate similar to my island... less hot if I'm lucky!
Until I find a place like that (and get steemit rich... ) I will stick to my fan and do the rain dance or something to see if some rain come and takes the heat away. So, tell me... how is your weather over there? Hope your summer is way less hotter than mine!
