Hooded person: Ok, consultant school 101. I consult you on my pie biz. Hey, Mr. Consultant Man, how can I sell more pies?
Person 2: (looking confused)
Hooded person: Pies?
Stanley: (raises his hand) I like to eat pie.
Hooded person: Oh yeah, what's your favorite? Chocolate mousse dream pie? Sour orange meringue pie? Plum chutney cream pie?
Stanley: Well, those sound great, but I like to keep it simple. My favorite is chess pie.
Hooded person: Chess pie?
Stanley: It's a traditional Southern pie made with things that are already in most kitchens...sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, cornmeal, vinegar. Bake at 375 degrees. 50 min.
Hooded person: (stunned)
Stanley: No apples or pecans or blueberries or plums. Just basic pie. Hence the name. "Chess pie" sounds like "just pie." (excitedly) And it's fantastic!
Hooded person: (speechless) Sure you're not an expert on anything?
