When I prepared for going in my daily photo hunt I didn't even thought that something unusual will happen. So many times I took pictures of butterfly called Scarce swallowtail. It is an very amazing species, I'm observing it last few years, very early I realized that I will never be able to holding it on my hand.
In beginning of mine dealing with butterflies I tried numerous times to pick up from flowers, but unsuccessfully. So I stop to trying, it was mission impossible, even approaching to them on distance of 2m is doable only occasionally, mostly when they feed.
While I walked by canal tried to made photos of swans, then suddenly out of the blue appeared butterfly which you can see on photos. I immediately lost my interest in the swans and start to follow this butterfly.
I noticed something very unusual, butterfly was so slow. This kind of butterfly is very fast and it's very hard to follow it. Something wasn't right with this fellow. His flight was short, it looks like he was without strength.
In one moment I came so close to him, nearly enough to touch it. I did it, I touch it several times, but he didn't mind what I'm doing. I put my index finger in front of him and then happen something what I considered for long time as impossible. He climbed on my finger.
I really don't know what is a reason for such unusual behave. Maybe he was an old specimen, or it was just damaged, wounded by some predators, I will never find out. Once again to me is given an very valuable lesson; there is no impossible things!
