There are kind of butterfly that are so similar in appearance that you have to be a great connoisseur of butterflies to be able to see the difference between two similar butterfly types. Sometimes these are the most common spot or pattern on the wings of a butterfly, often it is a shade of color on the body or wings.
Today, butterfly you can see in the photos landed literally in front of me. I believe this butterfly is Large copper (Lat. Lycaena dispar), but I'm not 100% sure because I'm not a butterfly expert. While I was photographing the butterfly, I didn't notice anything unusual, but when I returned home and watched the photographs carefully on the monitor, I noticed a different pattern of dots on the lower wings. I thought I was photographing butterfly called Small Copper, but it was very similar but still different kind of butterfly. Anyway, I'm very happy cause I will add one more butterfly kind to my collection. For sure I can say that this day was really great for me! :)
