Happy #aliveandthriving Friday evening to you and thank you for your visit!
A few photos from my Alive and Thriving trip over to the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center, honestly to me it looks like a "Grandchildrens Center"! But that's how it is here I guess... I am sure if the money was allocated for a "Children's Center", they would use it on a "Senior Center". In a moment I will show you what I mean!
So this is the Barbeque Pit outside of the center, it's under a shade structure,
Leaving there and walking out along the lawn there is various exercise equipment,
And a sign on how to use the various equipment,
This is the walkway out towards the back, and the "Dog Park",
And another sign which states the rules of the Dog Park,
This is a look inside. There is a fountain and Fire Hydrants (:-)) along with Hay Bales,
Swinging around from there is the Tennis Courts,
There was a few guys painting new lines on the courts,
This is another walkway the comes down from the Pool area,
And finally, another (there is four) children's play area,
So as a senior I have to ask how much of this is for the seniors? There is really nothing you can say, if you say something you will be labeled as "not family friendly". But the few times I have been here I have seen a whole lot more children and parents than any "Seniors". I think it's a "mis-appropriation" of tax dollars myself.
And...
That was my Friday trip to the Senior Center, not a lot going on - but something different!
And with that, I want to thank you again for your visit and I am Wishing you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe weekend✨🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️
