Since I woke up this morning it was already raining outside, I waited until almost noon to see if it would stop raining, but it didn't. I said to myself: ok, you are not made of sugar and you will not melt if you get wet of rain. I got ready, wrapped my camera and lens with a plastic bag in order to protect it at least a little, I also brought an umbrella.
Everything around me was kind of gray, the low light also didn't suit me at all. As I walked towards the bridge, I had to skip the water puddles as well as the mud that covered the entire road near the bridge. From the bridge, I could relieve from puddles and mud, though the grass I walked on was very wet, I didn't care for it.
I was trying to find at least one frame that was suitable for photography, by then I had made a few photos, but nothing worth mentioning. Despite the rain, there were several anglers on the canal, they were trying to catch pike, the weather conditions were ideal for pike hunting.
During the walk, I met two anglers, one of whom I knew, and spent the next two hours talking to them. The rain stopped falling in the meantime, and the clouds began to change their positions as well as the appearance very quickly, the colors of the sky also changed from moment to moment. Looking away from the now remote bridge, I could clearly see the very visible haze created by the evaporation of water from the canal.
As I was going back I took some more photos. They are not stunning, but they are interesting anyway. For this post, I selected a few photos to give you an idea of the atmosphere of today day.
