To search for a needle in a haystack, I suppose everyone has heard this term and its meaning refers to something impossible. I encountered a very similar problem today! Namely, as I walked in search of the photo, I came to a field very close to the canal. From a distance I could recognize my acquaintance, who with his herd of goats was somewhere in the middle of that field.
He gestured for me to go toward him, he was shouting something along the way, but I didn't understand anything. When I got close enough he told me to call him on the phone, of course at first I didn't understand why he was asking me to do that ?! But he soon told me that he lose his phone, somewhere in the field you can see in the photos! I started laughing out loud, not because I was malicious or something, but because I didn't bring my phone with me. I joked with him: if you are persistent enough in a year or two you might even find it! The man found himself in an impossible situation.
I knew what I had to do, I told him to wait for me there and I would be back soon. I went straight home for my phone, after about ten minutes I returned. From the beginning of the field, I kept calling my friend's phone number. As I walked forward, he walked the other lane, I constantly strained to hear any sound, but heard nothing.
A great obstacle to our efforts was also a herd of goats, which, as commanded, began to accompany me, and in the course of the flock made a terrible noise in the form of rustling of the remains of a corn stalk. But fortunately after only about five minutes of trying, I still managed to hear some tones reaching me from an unknown direction. After only a dozen new steps, I saw a telephone display shimmering in the sun.
Sometimes even impossible things are possible, but it is always necessary to do a step or two!
