Canal is very often main subject of my photos, mostly because I spend a lot of my time there. My everyday ritual is walk along the canal, doesn't matter what season is or what weather conditions are, I'm always there.
Today I went to walk very early, before first sun rays showed up. I like to observe this very well known landscape through the seasons as it change. I like to see summer haze above water as it slowly fade out on upcoming sun. Yeah, there is something special in sunrise.
It is very peaceful and quiet place in morning hours, then there is no people to bother you, only thing what you can hear are birds. While I was walk I could feel it wet grass on my feet, but I didn't care to much about it. Overnight it was raining, but wasn't cold at all, I can see this day will be very hot.
In summer ideal time for a walk is morning or evening but then you taking risk to be bitten by mosquitoes, these days they are so annoying.
