To take a ride on the boat, like man on photo does is something wonderful. It's very hard to describe that feeling, I don't speak about fast ride yet about slow ride where you have enough time to enjoy in every single moment.
Water in canal is usually very calm, there is no man made noise, only what you can heard is birds and many others animals. High trees creates thick shade, gentle breeze is always there to cool you down over hot days. All you need to do is to find your favorite spot, throw anchor and enjoy a day.
Water in canal is unpolluted, it is very clean, over summer hot days you can jump into water and swim.
Man from photo I see regularly, and every time he takes a ride with his boat. In our often conversations, more than once he mentioned: I like to be near to water, it calms me down, relaxing me.
I believe him !
