In nature, autumn is the penultimate phase of one cycle, and many people don't like autumn because it represents the pre-culmination of the final phase, which is death. Everything we admired and enjoyed now is fading away, for me personally it's not a very scary or big deal; all we see is just part of the natural processes that are inevitable and badly needed.
At the beginning of the next coming cycle, we will see a resurrection into the life of all that we just thought was dead, so why to be despair or be depressed! Maybe the very frequent long-term rains, as well as the grayness around us, cause that feeling, we identify with something that is transient ie. temporarily!
Today I went to one I can freely say classic autumn walk to my favorite place, the canal! The trees that adorn the shoreline still have leaves that day by day change color and slowly fall to the ground. It's hard to find any remaining flower that is shyly hidden from the eyes of passers-by, in this case me, but still find some specimen of some wild flower.
When you go to the same place every day, you start to notice small, tiny changes on a daily basis. Frequent weather changes are not uncommon for this time of year, the shift of the rainy season with fine weather is normal, but it all leaves a deep mark on nature that you know very well.
As a young person, I understood almost everything very superficially, ignoring almost everything around me, but now that I'm in adulthood, I begin to notice all the details. One of the main features of youth is the quickness and tremendous lack of knowledge and wisdom that comes through the experience gained. Midlife is full of poise and wisdom, with this statement I have no intention of bragging or exalting myself, but I just trying to explain factually side of things!
I photographed the canal several times today, the photos that you can see did not all come out in the same part of the day, they were made according to the constantly changing circumstances.
Often times, I have been misled that in this season there is nothing to photograph, but life never stop to confute me practical examples, there is always something worthy of attention and every moment of time spent observing and enjoying those same things. It may seem monotonous or annoying to photograph the same landscapes, but when you are emotionally attached to those landscapes, they become something more than just scenes and shots, they are part of you, and every change on them comparatively makes a change on you.
Lastly, what else can I say except that life is one constant change that lasts constantly and brings us some new undiscovered things that make life even more beautiful!
